Teleworks USA, KellyConnect Set to Hold Hiring Events April 30-May 2 in Annville, Harlan, and Hazard

Jobseekers across the region will have the opportunity to prepare and apply for open teleworking positions with global telework company KellyConnect during three days of hiring events from April 30 through May 2. Prospective teleworkers will also have a chance to greatly increase their potential to be hired by KellyConnect by participating in free Teleworks USA Tech Prep Workshops in advance of the hiring events.

Teleworks USA and KellyConnect are partnering to host the hiring events on:

  • • Monday, April 30: Annville Teleworks Hub, 169 Carpenter Drive, Annville
  • • Tuesday, May 1: Harlan Teleworks Hub, 416 Skidmore Drive, Harlan
  • • Wednesday, May 2: Hazard Teleworks Hub (within the Kentucky Career Center JobSight), 412 Roy Campbell Drive, Hazard

All events will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on their respective dates.

KellyConnect is seeking to hire Inbound Technical Support Representatives, and will have company representatives on hand to interview candidates in person for work-from-home positions that can be performed via a computer and broadband connection.

Benefits for available positions include:

  • • Eligible for $500 training completion bonus after 90 days
  • • Pay raise for $13-$15 per hour after 90 days

In preparation for these KellyConnect hiring events, Teleworks USA is offering accelerated Tech Prep Workshops at our Teleworks Hubs in the region. These one-week sessions are free to attend, and are available now through April 23 at all Teleworks USA Hubs in Harlan, Jackson, Lee, Leslie, Owsley, Perry, and Pike counties. These workshops will focus on rapidly developing a working knowledge of macOS and iOS operating systems and basic troubleshooting. 

Prior to attending the hiring events, KellyConnect strongly recommends anyone interested in applying for a tech support position complete one of these workshop sessions. Individuals who feel they already have a proven, working knowledge of macOS and iOS are welcome to apply at the hiring events, but should first contact their nearest Teleworks Hub between now and April 23 to determine whether workshop attendance may still be necessary to increase hiring potential.

Pre-registration for all KellyConnect hiring events is required, and candidates should expect in-person interviews with KellyConnect corporate representatives April 30-May 2. Applicants must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED, must provide phone and broadband internet service and a quiet work-at-home environment, and have experience with mobile devices.
