Clients will also be able to attend a 1 p.m. webinar to learn more about FlexJobs where they will receive a free three-month subscription for the service.
FlexJobs researches thousands of job listings to provide clients with access to hand-screened flexible job opportunities quickly and easily. Since its formation in 2007, the company has quickly become the nation’s foremost advocate for remote-work opportunities.
An initiative of the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (EKCEP), Inc., Teleworks USA connects jobseekers with legitimate telework positions, as well, but also provides free, accelerated workshops at each of the agency’s eight Teleworks Hubs in the Eastern Kentucky region. Since its inception in 2012, Teleworks USA has opened brick-and-mortar Teleworks Hubs in Hazard, Hyden, Annville, Beattyville, Booneville, Harlan, Louisa, and Pike County. In the time that those Hubs have been in operation, they have helped create more than 1,400 new jobs, bringing a potential $30 million in economic impact in new annual wages to workers across the Eastern Kentucky Coalfields.
For jobseekers, the partnership between FlexJobs and Teleworks USA means clients will not only have access to Teleworks USA’s jobs list and proven digital economy workshops, but will also benefit from FlexJobs’ database of vetted employment opportunities.
For more information about the event, and to pre-register for the FlexJobs webinar to receive the free three-month subscription, contact Katelyn Dunn at 606-364-2831.
