Teleworks USA, KellyConnect Set New Round of Hiring Events July 9-12 in Annville, Hazard, Pike County, and Lawrence County

After offering telework tech support jobs to more than 160 Eastern Kentuckians during their last visit in April 2018, global telework company KellyConnect is returning to host another multi-day hiring event in the region in early July.

In addition, jobseekers will again have the opportunity to greatly increase their potential to be hired by KellyConnect by participating in free Teleworks USA Tech Prep Workshops being hosted now at the region’s Teleworks Hubs in advance of the hiring events July 9-12.

The Teleworks USA and KellyConnect hiring events will be held on:

  • Monday, July 9
    Annville Teleworks Hub
    169 Carpenter Drive, Annville
  • Tuesday, July 10
  • Hazard Teleworks Hub (within the Kentucky Career Center JobSight)
    412 Roy Campbell Drive, Hazard
  • Wednesday, July 11
    Pike County Teleworks Hub
    180 Ford Mountain Road, Pikeville
  • Thursday, July 12
Lawrence County Teleworks Hub (within the Lawrence County Community Center)
    180 Bulldog Lane, Louisa

All events will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on their respective dates.

KellyConnect will be hiring Inbound Technical Support Representatives, and will have senior representatives from the company’s corporate headquarters in Michigan on hand to interview candidates in person for work-from-home positions that can be performed via a computer and broadband connection.

Benefits for available positions include:

  • Paid training at $12-$14 per hour
  • Eligible for $500 training completion bonus after 90 days
  • Pay raise for $13-$15 per hour after 90 days
  • Advisor earning potential of $15-$17 per hour
  • Explosive growth opportunities
  • Company-provided equipment

In preparation for these KellyConnect hiring events, Teleworks USA is offering accelerated Tech Prep Workshops at all eight Teleworks Hubs in the region. These one-week sessions are free to attend, and are available now at Teleworks USA Hubs in Harlan, Jackson, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Owsley, Perry, and Pike counties.

These workshops will focus on rapidly developing a working knowledge of macOS and iOS operating systems and basic troubleshooting. Slots are limited, so be one of the first 38 graduates from each Hub to complete a Tech Prep Workshop to get priority access to an in-person interview with the company.

Prior to attending the July hiring events, KellyConnect strongly recommends anyone interested in applying for a tech support position complete one of Teleworks USA’s workshop sessions. Individuals who feel they already have a proven, working knowledge of macOS and iOS are welcome to apply at the hiring events, but should first contact their nearest Teleworks Hub to determine whether workshop attendance may still be required to increase hiring potential.
