Teleworks USA Partnering with Concentrix to Help Fill Hundreds of Tech Support and Customer Service Positions

Teleworks USA is partnering with global telework leader Concentrix to prepare prospective teleworkers in Eastern Kentucky as the company is looking to hire up to 300 tech support and customer service representatives by November, and will continue to recruit for these positions ongoing throughout the year.

Concentrix is currently hiring for both full- and part-time tech support and customer service positions. Applicants for these positions are highly encouraged to enroll in and complete a one-week Tech Prep Workshop offered at any of the eight Teleworks USA Teleworks Hubs in Eastern Kentucky. Teleworks USA operates Hubs in Harlan, Jackson, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Owsley, Perry, and Pike counties.

Managers at each of the eight Teleworks Hubs will facilitate Tech Prep Workshops designed to give participants a working knowledge of macOS and iOS, prepare them to work from home, and increase their chances of success in the digital economy.

“It is extremely important that anyone applying for these positions at Concentrix first contact our Hub Managers and sign up for a Tech Prep Workshop,” said Teleworks USA Operations Manager Betty Hays. “Completing these workshops shows the company that you’re prepared for these jobs and to work in the digital economy.”

After successfully completing the workshop, Teleworks USA Hub Managers will assist with resume preparation and preparing candidates for interviews with Concentrix recruiters, as well as facilitate all preliminary processes to get prospects applied for the jobs.

Pay begins at $13 per hour, and both full-time and part-time positions include benefits such as 401K, medical, vision, dental, and paid time off. After six months of successful employment, employees can apply for any position within the company, including Tier 2 opportunities.

Possible shifts will fall between 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Sunday. All schedules will include weekends. Applicants hired for these positions must commit to a three-week, full-time paid company training. The company will provide a computer, but the employee must provide a USB headset, telephone, and high-speed internet with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download/10Mbps upload.
