Teleworks USA Set to Host Free Customer Service & Technical Support Workshops in Paintsville April 29 through May 10

Teleworks USA staff members, in partnership with the City of Paintsville, the Johnson County Fiscal Court, Ramada by Wyndham Hotel and Conference Center, and Foothills Communication, are bringing a new round of customer service and technical support workshops to the Paintsville, Ky., area this spring.

Slated for April 29 through May 10, the workshop will offer daily sessions Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will be held at the Ramada in Paintsville, located at 624 James S. Trimble Boulevard. This workshop comes on the heels of a recent Teleworks USA job fair in Johnson County where more than 80 percent of attendees were offered jobs.

“These workshops have been a game changer for prospective teleworkers in our region,” Teleworks USA Operations Manager Betty Hays said. “Employers seek out potential employees based on their knowledge and experience in the field—these workshops give teleworkers a boost when they join that pool of applicants for any of the hundreds of jobs available through our extensive network of partner companies.”

Enroll now for the free, two-week workshop, which will cover topics including customer service, technical support, and remote sales to prepare participants to work from a home office via computer and high-speed internet connection. Those who complete the workshop will earn related certifications and receive assistance applying for and landing legitimate jobs with a growing list of national and global telework employers, including KellyConnect, Concentrix, and more.
